If it wasn't obvious that newborns are my most favorite to photograph, I hope you know it now!  Call it maternal instinct or whatever you would like, there's just something about snuggling up to a brand new baby and taking everything in.  ESPECIALLY that new babe smell! 

In the past year, I've been lucky to photograph two new babies welcomed into two new families via adoption.  It's a hard feeling to describe when you're in the presence of such a beautiful and selfless thing.  In all honesty, you never would have guessed that these two people didn't just go through 9 months of a roller coaster that is pregnancy.  They stepped into the role of mom and dad so seamlessly and beautifully.  The bond was so instant and plainly visible.  Believe me, it was a beautiful thing to witness.  I feel so incredibly blessed to have the opportunity to photograph this new family of 3 before they returned home to Tennessee. (Hey! That rhymed!)
